Lifesaving skills and emergency response training delivered to CISD students through hands-on, instructor-led sessions.
Emergency Response Training with Rescue 1122
The CISD Medical Tech Department successfully conducted a Rescue 1122 training session focused on essential lifesaving skills and emergency response techniques. Participants received training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) protocols, and practical first aid.
Through hands-on practice, participants learned how to respond to medical emergencies, perform immediate lifesaving interventions, and provide appropriate first aid. The training helped build their confidence and strengthen emergency preparedness.

What Participants Learned
Basic Life Support (BLS)
CPR technique, airway management and rescue breathing practised on manikins under trainer supervision.
ACLS Protocols
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support protocols for recognising and responding to cardiac emergencies.
Practical First Aid
Bleeding control, fractures, burns and shock management with correct handling and transfer of patients.
